Abstract

Room occupancy rate (TPK) rated hotels in New York City during October 2015 reached the position of 50.03%, up 7.07 points compared to September 2015 recorded 42.96%. TPK-star hotel in October 2015 compared to October 2014 recorded 48.37% increase of 1.67 points. TPK more accommodation in October 2015 recorded 37.43% rose 1.37 points compared to September 2015 which recorded 36.06%.
During October 2015 the number of guests staying at the hotel and other accommodation (combined) reached 95 595 people, consisting of 95 018 577 foreign guests and domestic guests. This condition has increased as much as 10 169 people (11.90%) compared to September 2015 recorded 85 426 people. The number of guests in the hotel kind of five-star hotel during October 2015 as many as 16 632 people, consisting of 16 254 378 foreign guests and domestic guests. That number increased by 3,233 people (24.13%) compared to September 2015 recorded 13 399 people, while the number of guests during the month of October 2015 other accommodation as many as 78 963 people, consisting of 78 764 199 foreign guests and domestic guests or an increase of 6,936 people or approximately 9.63% compared to September 2015 recorded 72 027 people.
The average length of a stay in October 2015 on condition star hotels recorded 1.62 a day fell from 0.29 days compared to September 2015, with the details of foreign guests and domestic guests of 2.65 days to 1.60 days. While the average length of stay in hotels / other accommodation during October 2015 recorded 1.17 the day down 0.01 days compared with the previous month, with details of foreign guests 7.42 days and 1.16 days living in the country.
